Writing Residency: Vermont

The Vermont Studio Center offers two- to twelve-week residencies year-round to poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and translators in Johnson, a village located in the heart of the northern Green Mountains. The center provides time and space to write, as well as readings by and conferences with two visiting writers each month. The fee for a four-week residency is $3,950. Fellowships are available.

To apply online, submit three copies of up to 10 pages of poetry or up to 15 pages of prose, a résumé, three references, and a $25 application fee. The deadline for full fellowships is February 15, 2013.
