On the first Wednesday of each month, Literary Mama shares a complete list of all current calls for submissions, sorted by deadline. *Ilk Journal is accepting poetry submissions for their second “All Women All the Time” issue. Hybrid forms are appreciated and experimentation encouraged, but poetry of any description will be considered. Click here for details. Deadline: June 15, 2013

Balaustine is a forthcoming anthology on the topic of “wanting family.” Submission categories include poetry, short stories and essays about wanting children, being unable to have children, miscarriage and loss, infertility, adoption, and other ‘alternative’ families. *The Voices Project, an online literary venue for women to promote social change, is taking submissions of poetry and short prose (250 words or less). Please include a short bio (160 words or less) with your submission. Anonymous submissions and multiple submissions welcome, no more than 5. Women and girls of any age or education level are encouraged to submit. Submit through the website OR via email (info (at) thevoicesproject (dot) org). DOC, DOCX, PDF, or TXT attachments are OK.
