The Art of the Story

Tom Jenks, co-founder and editor of Narrative Magazine, will lead a four-day workshop called The Art of the Story, for Short Story Writers, Novelists, and Authors of Creative Nonfiction, in San Francisco, California.

CLASSES:
January 16–19, 2014
January 30—February 2, 2014
February 20—23, 2014

APPLICATION DEADLINES:

For the January 16 class—October 25, 2013
For the January 30 class—November 1, 2013
For the February 20 class—November 30, 2013

The class will meet every day for four days, with a morning workshop and an afternoon seminar focused on craft. For the seminar, there will be reading assignments and study of works by well-known writers. Each participant will have one manuscript workshopped in class and a second manuscript reviewed for an individual conference with Tom.
