National Library Week

By Blog Editor

What does your library mean to you? National Library Week, April 13-19, 2014, is the perfect opportunity to encourage your community to tell the story of how the library has changed their life.

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is sponsored by American Library Association and local libraries across the country. This year’s theme is Lives change @your library, and this year’s honorary chair is Judy Blume.

Add your story to the mix and see what others are saying by Tweeting #NLW14 or #Liveschange. Tweet @atyourlibrary and Facebook @yourlibrary, Flickr @yourlibrary.

Find ideas for how to celebrate your library and connect more at ALA National Library Week.
