We’re Hiring a Photo Editor!

We’re looking for a talented Photo Editor to work independently yet maintain affiliation with a team who meets and completes projects via cyberspace. Read below for the details:

Our Photo Editor oversees the burgeoning Photography Department of Literary Mama. This creative and detail-oriented individual monitors and organizes photo submissions, researches and contacts photographers in order to build a library of compelling and evocative images, and generates ideas based on themes and ideas presented by the senior editors.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Technically proficient in photography, with supporting educational and career experience
• Open-minded, diplomatic, and interested in mothercentric literary writing
• Knowledgeable, or a willingness to learn, about group email conversations (Yahoo), cloud-sharing programs (Google Drive), and content management systems (WordPress)
• 2 to 4 hours a week.
