We’re looking for a creative and dedicated individual to join our Reviews and Profiles Department as an Editorial Assistant to help in our efforts in publishing literary writing about motherhood.

Please note: This is a volunteer position. All work is conducted remotely, via internet. Strong communications skills required. Applicants must also be mothers.

Editorial Assistant for Reviews and Profiles

Our Editorial Assistants proofread and perform final copyedits on our publications, ensuring that our monthly publishing schedule, WordPress functions, and editorial standards are met.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Proficient with Chicago Manual of Style
• Proficient with, or a willingness to learn about, content management systems, group email conversations, and cloud-sharing programs
• Proficient with WordPress
• Works well with a team
• 4 to 6 hours a month, depending on the number of submissions in the department
