Desiré Aguirre
Desiré Aguirre works part time with mentally ill adults and attends Lewis and Clark State College where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She is a single mother of two teenagers and lives in Idaho with her daughter, three cats, two dogs, and one horse. She has been published in Northern Journeys, Five Minutes of Fame, and Equus Spirit, and won second place in the Preservation Foundation’s 2005 nonfiction contest.
