Susan Bavaria

Susan Bavaria is working on a book, Cuddling the Cactus, about life with her husband, George DeRoos, and daughter Rose, who was adopted when she was six years old after living in eight foster homes. Susan has an M.A. from the University of Colorado and is the Director of Communications for the Arabian Horse Association. Her writing has also been published in the Bellevue Literary Review. Rose is now a sophomore at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, majoring in psychology.
