Kathleen S. Burgess
Kathleen S. Burgess, senior editor, Pudding Magazine: The Journal of Applied Poetry, served Ohio Poetry Association as vice-president. She juried and reads with Women of Appalachia Women Speak. Poems, interviews have appeared in North American Review; Main Street Rag; Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review; JMWW. Burgess won a 2018 Sheila-Na-Gig online poetry prize, received four Pushcart Prize nominations, two Best of the Net nominations. Recent poetry collections include What Burdens Do Those Trains Bear Away (Bottom Dog Press), The Wonder Cupboard (NightBallet Press). The retired public school music teacher lives in Chillicothe near Hopewell earthworks.
