Theresa Burns

Theresa Burns’s poetry, reviews, and nonfiction have appeared in The New York Times, Prairie Schooner, New Ohio Review, JAMA, The Cortland Review, Plume, SWWIM, and elsewhere. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee and author of the chapbook Two Train Town. In 2020, she was runner up in the Poet’s Prize from The Journal of New Jersey Poets and her first book Design was a finalist in the Barry Spacks Poetry Prize for 2021. A long-time book editor in New York and Boston, she is the founder of Watershed Literary Events and teaches writing in and around New York.
