Susan Hoffman

Susan Alderson Hoffmann writes educational materials for art museums and public schools in the Los Angeles area. She and her husband have raised two sons and many dogs in a Craftsman-era house haunted by the ghost of Richard Nixon, who ran two congressional campaigns from the front room. Now semi-retired, Hoffmann plays her great-aunt’s violin in an amateur string ensemble and writes nonfiction essays inspired by her family.
