Jane Gordon Julien

Jane Gordon Julien is a longtime journalist whose career began as a human-interest and food writer in Independence, MO. She moved on to the Birmingham Post-Herald in Alabama, then The Hartford Courant in Connecticut. She worked as a freelance reporter for The New York Times for 18 years before founding the Candlelight Writing Workshops and writing a blog, “Notes on Writing.”
