Shellie Kalinsky

Shellie Kalinsky is an MFA candidate at George Mason University studying creative writing. She is the assistant nonfiction editor at So To Speak Journal. In 2022 she was awarded the Aileen Walls Prize for her undergraduate work at George Mason. In 2023 she received an honorable mention from George Mason’s Rinehart Nonfiction Contest. She is mom to three pushy cats and one smart dog who keep her company while she writes. She lives near the Delaware seashore with her husband. She writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
