Sara Korber DeWeerd
Sara Korber DeWeerd is a writer, editor, and teacher drawn to stories that shift cultural narratives about disability, highlight our interdependence as humans, and invite us to imagine and (re)build communities where all belong. She writes for both kid and adult audiences, publishing essays and articles about disability, parenting, education, and faith. She is also the managing editor of the Calvin University Spark. When not writing or editing, Sara teaches journalism and creative writing. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and three children, where they enjoy exploring the mountains, lakes, and rocky coastlines of New England. Find her at sarakorberdeweerd.com.
