Kate Lewis
Kate Lewis is a writer fascinated by the ways we build (and rebuild) community. She is an essayist who has lived everywhere from Florence to Florida, with stints in Tokyo, Washington, DC, and West Hollywood along the way. She currently lives along the tidewaters of Coastal Virginia with her husband, their two young children, and a mischief-making dog. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Good Housekeeping, and more. She is the recipient of the Perry Morgan Fellowship at Old Dominion University, a reader for Barely South Review, and also writes The Village on Substack.
