Michelle Oppenheimer

Michelle Oppenheimer grew up in New York City. She now lives in California and teaches English at an independent high school in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars, and an MA in American Studies from Brown University, where she is ABD. Her short story, “Tell Me About Her,” published in Enizagam, was nominated for a 2013 Pushcart Prize. Her work has appeared in the Bennington Review, Four Chambers and The Manifest-Station. Her essay, “Indelible Moments,” was published in the Willa Cather Review (Spring 2019), a special issue dedicated to new work inspired by My Ántonia.
