Michelle Oppenheimer
Michelle Oppenheimer grew up in New York City and now lives in California where she chairs the English Department at an independent, alternative high school. She holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars and an MA in American Studies from Brown University. Her short story, “Tell Me About Her,” published in Enizagam, was nominated for a 2013 Pushcart Prize in fiction. Her poem, “Amy Winehouse is Dead,” was published in the May/June 2022 Issue of Literary Mama and nominated for a Pushcart Prize in poetry. Her work has appeared in the Bennington Review, Four Chambers, and The Manifest-Station.
