Emily Patterson

Emily Patterson (she/her) is the author of The Birth of Undoing (Sheila-Na-Gig Editions, 2025) as well as three chapbooks. Her poetry is published or soon to appear in SWWIM, North American Review, Christian Century, CALYX, Sweet Lit, Cordella Magazine, NELLE, and elsewhere. Her poem “Small is the Seed” (Tyger Tyger Magazine) was set to music by composer Katerina Gimon and premiered at Carnegie Hall in 2025. Emily works as an editor with Highlights for Children and lives with her family in Columbus, Ohio.
