Valli Jo Porter

Valli Jo Porter earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University and an MFA in fiction from Old Dominion University. She lives outside Cleveland, where she wrangles her two children and administrates Breastfeeding Mamas, a 10,500-member support group on Facebook that she helped found in 2011. Two of her stories have been shortlisted for Glimmertrain prizes. She’s currently at work on a novel she refers to as her Middle Child.
