Lauren Reynolds’ research on ghosts and hauntings in works by contemporary women writers allowed her to spend many years reading literature from around the world. Her research and book reviews appear in Cuban Studies, Chiricú Journal, Revista de Literatura Mexicana Contemporánea, and Journal of American Studies of Turkey. She teaches at a local community college and, when her daughter was born, began creative writing as a way to explore how motherhood has changed so much of her life. She lives in the Sierra Nevada foothills with her husband, children, and dog.
