Kim Cope Tait is the mother of two boys, now aged 5 and 7. She earned her MFA from Vermont College in 2000 and now lives and writes on the Big Island of Hawaii with her family. Her work has appeared in Blue Mesa Review, Southern Indiana Review, Karamu, Bamboo Ridge, Poetry Miscellany, and Spirituality & Health magazine, among others. She also writes regularly for The Waimea Gazette. Her chapbook “Element” was recently published with Leaping Dog Press.
