Carine Topal

Carine Topal is mother to a fifteen year old. She is a veteran special education teacher and has taught poetry to children and adults for 15 years. Her work has appeared in The Best of the Prose Poem, Caliban, Pacific Review, Oberon, and many others. She is the recipient of poetry awards from: Spanish Moss Literary Journal, Water-Stone, Americas Review, Embers Magazine, and Half-Tones to Jubilee. Her new manuscript, As When, is looking for a home.
