Father’s Day Favorites

By Kristina Riggle

Let’s dip into a couple editor favorites from Father’s Days past.

In Hungry to Eat from 2012, David Harris Ebenbach writes of a father figuring out on the fly how to help a grown son with a big hurt that a Band-Aid just won’t fix.

In 2008, Randall Brown wrote in The Mattress King from the point of view of a grown son about his father, once a king of business, now alone with the one son who didn’t take up the rule of his kingdom.
