Books Beneath the Bridge

Books Beneath the Bridge is held every Monday at 7 pm, from July 8th through August 12, 2013.

At Granite Prospect steps, Brooklyn, NY, each week, will be featured an evening curated by local, independent bookstores. Each program will include a reading, Q&A, and book signing with the authors.

Monday, July 8th at 7pm – Freebird Bookstore: James Gulliver Hancock, All the Buildings in New York: That I’ve Drawn So Far

Monday, July 15th at 7pm – Greenlight Bookstore: Poetry with Sharon Olds and Edward Hirsch

Monday, July 22rd at 7pm – PowerHouse Arena: Colum McCann, TransAtlantic, in conversation with Bill Cheng

Monday, July 29 at 7pm – Community Book Store Park Slope: A reading of Swann’s Way in celebration of its 100th anniversary

Monday, August 5 at 7pm – WORD: 5 Borough Blues with Colson Whitehead (Manhattan) Victor LaValle, (Queens) Kevin Baker (Bronx), Alina Simone (Brooklyn), Shay Youngblood (Staten Island)

Monday, August 12th at 7pm – Bookcourt: Ayana Mathis, The Twelve Tribes of Hattie
