Harlem Book Fair

By Blog Editor

This year is the 15th anniversary of the Harlem Book Fair, in Harlem NY.
July 19 -20 2013.

This fair is “the largest African American Book Fair nationally, held annually in New York City and throughout the United States. The Harlem Book Fair, which free to the public, features over 250 exhibit booths, four stages, celebrity authors, book selling, storytelling and a variety of musical entertainment. The program of activities includes an opportunity for attendees to be a part of the studio audience for the author panel discussions that take place at the Schomburg Center for Research and air live on C-Span’s Book TV.

Authors will offer their perspectives on relationships, health, finance, music, politics, street fiction, the state of black publishing, as well as provide tips on how to become a successful published author.”

The Harlem Book Fair is a production of QBR The Black Book Review “to inform, enlighten, and entertain. In the wings there are hundreds of talented and committed writers who only need “the word” spread about their work.”
