To mark this anniversary, as well as the the 200th anniversary of the Library’s acquisition of Thomas Jefferson’s personal library, the festival will have as its theme Jefferson’s quote, “I Cannot Live Without Books.”
Three Rivers Storytelling Festival

For 15 years, the Three Rivers Storytelling Festival has presented a two-day storytelling festival that features national and regional tellers, workshops, master storytelling classes, Liars’ Contests, Ghost Stories, and Youth Concerts. It has received foundational and organizational funding to support its work in promoting awareness and appreciation of the art of oral storytelling to intergenerational and multi-cultural audiences throughout Western Pennsylvania.
