By Blog Editor

The Literary Reflections department at Literary Mama seeks writing by Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and other Women of Color about the intersection of motherhood and literature. We’re particularly interested in essays about the ways in which Women of Color have addressed motherhood in their writing historically as well as essays about how particular writers or books have influenced you as a mother, or how being a mother has affected your writing. Please see our full submission guidelines here.
