#MamaAndWriting Week 2022

We are excited to announce Literary Mama’s first annual #MamaAndWriting week! This virtual writing week will kick off on Mother’s Day, May 8, for a full week of prompts, goals, community, and resources.

We invite mama writers to participate in any or all of #MamaAndWriting week. Meet a word count goal, attend a virtual write-in, or connect with other mamas online! Focus on your current project or use the prompts to start something new. Make your own writing goals and post on social with the hashtag to join the conversation. #MamaAndWriting is a celebration of mother writers everywhere.

Each day will feature a word count goal and a new prompt from one of the Literary Mama departments. We’ll also host two virtual Zoom write-ins for you to write alongside other mamas. On Saturday, May 14, the week will end with a wrap party featuring an Ask Me Anything session with Literary Mama staff and an open mic session.

Daily prompts and event details will be posted on Literary Mama’s social accounts. Make sure to check in daily, so you don’t miss out!
