Call for Submissions: Literary Mama Literary Reflections

The Literary Reflections Department of Literary Mama is seeking submissions for our January/February 2023 issue. We are looking for original first-person essays focused on the intersection of motherhood and the creative process. More specifically, we want to know your hopes/resolutions for writing or reading in the new year. We are also interested in possible obstacles that interfere with these aspirations.

We are open to style and structure with a word count of 1,200-2,000 words. We are willing to read longer works if you think your piece is a fit. Please check out the Literary Reflections section of the site to get a feel for what we’ve published previously.
