Come see Literary Mama at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference! Not familiar with AWP? You can find more information here, including a full schedule of events.
Want to know where to find us? Literary Mama will be at Table T1504 in the exhibition hall. Our staff will wear t-shirts and carry tote bags with the Literary Mama logo. You may even spot us at the CLMP (Community of Literary Magazines and Presses) Breakfast on Saturday, March 11th, at 9am.
We’re also excited to announce a special reading to help celebrate 20 years of Literary Mama on Thursday, March 9th, from 7-9pm at Ballast Bar. Several contributors and staff will be reading to celebrate our Literary Mama 20th anniversary anthology, including:
- Jill Christman, If This Were Fiction
- Jody Keisner, Under My Bed and Other Essays
- Cheryl E. Klein, Crybaby: Infertility, Illness, and Other Things That Were Not the End of the World
- Minna Dubin, Mom Rage
You can find all the above books and more at our Literary Mama bookshop!
Finally, Rudri Patel, Senior Editor of Literary Mama and co-founder and editor at The Sunlight Press, will be participating in a panel on “The Intersection of Art and Revenue” on Saturday, March 11th! You can find her in the Signature Room, Summit Building, Seattle Convention Center, Level 5 S178 at 12:10-1:25 pm.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it! We will be hosting a Virtual Write-in on Thursday, March 9 at 8pm EST. You can RSVP or find the Zoom link to the Write-in here.
