Literary Reflections: Call for Submissions

By Femi Lewis

Call for submissions for Literary Mama's Literary Reflections department.

As mothers who embrace the power of reading and writing about motherhood, we all know it is a journey filled with pride, pain, discovery, and a constant need to decompress.

That’s why the Literary Reflections team is excited to hear from you. The department is currently accepting essays exploring the varied experiences of mothers who happen to be writers for the March/April Issue. The editors enjoy reading essays between 1500 and 3000 words on motherhood and its relationship to reading, writing, and professionalism.

Here are some beloved essays published in Literary Reflections:

Inflection Point: The Birth of A Mother Writer

Goodnight Noises Everywhere

Mantras for Motherhood and Revision

Submissions for Literary Reflections are open for the March/April issue. Inquiries for the Literary Reflections team should be sent to: lmreflections@literarymama.com.
