April’s prompt is: Mama And … Spring Cleaning
We’re keen to read your thoughts on whatever spring cleaning means to you as a mama and writer. Literary Mama staff will select favorite contributions to share at the end of next month.
Spring has sprung and it’s that time of year when the dreaded compound of ‘spring’ and ‘cleaning’ is thrown around in our households. It must be necessary for our wellbeing, as March turns to April and onwards towards summer, mustn’t it?
The practice of thoroughly cleaning a living space seems like such a good idea, and could well be applied to our writing spaces too. What do you think? Is it dreaded or beloved for you? As Mamas, do you have plans to engage your children with spring cleaning tasks? As Literary Mamas, do you see this as a good time for tidying and cleaning your writing spaces too?
