Vickie Barret spent over a decade as a business journalist at Forbes Magazine writing about entrepreneurs, innovation, and education. She is currently working on a book about loss, motherhood, and the stories we tell ourselves about where we came from. Her most recent work has appeared in Zibby Mag. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and three sons.
