Jennie Burke

Jennie Burke is a mother, teacher, writer, and harm-reduction advocate from Baltimore, Maryland. Her work has appeared in The Rumpus, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, The Independent, and a variety of literary journals. Her work has been included in Catapult’s Memoir Monday and she is a Best American Essays nominee. Jennie holds an MFA from Goucher College.
