Jessica Smartt Gullion, PhD, and her husband parent two amazing children in a tiny town in north Texas. Her writings on motherhood have appeared in Mama, PhD: Women Write About Motherhood and Academic Life ,The Mother’s Movement Online , and the Journal for the Association for Research on Mothering . She is currently finishing her first novel.
