Joyce Hicks

Joyce Burd Hicks is a mother of one daughter and a grandmother of three. She’s interested in fiction about later-life dramas and issues. This is her first published fiction, though another story has placed in Chicago NPR’s “Stories On Stage” contest. The Blank Slate writers’ group keeps her on task with projects, and she has written two novels, one of which is about Betty.
