Liz Verlander

Liz Verlander has been writing poetry all her adult life and has had a little success in the indie press including Pulsar, Penpusher, HQ, Reach and, most recently, Shot Glass Journal. She performs and supports Alan Davies and Jenny Éclair at her local theatre as part of an initiative to promote local acts. She was shortlisted in the Isobel Hospice National poetry competition in December 2019. Her Facebook page has nearly 500 followers and her poem “How to Survive a Zombie Attack” received 2,000 likes. She lives in Worthing, UK and is a senior support worker in a local homelessness hostel.
