Marietta Morry and Walter Burgess are both Canadian and translate contemporary Hungarian fiction. They have translated works by Gábor T. Szántó, Péter Moesko, Anita Harag, and András Pungor, in addition to those by Zsófia Czakó. Eighteen of their translations have appeared (or will soon appear) in various literary magazines, including two translated excerpts from Zsófia Czakó’s first book, which were published in Hermine Annual and The Autoethnographer.
