Lori Miller Kase divides her time between journalism and creative writing, and has just completed a young adult novel. Her work has appeared in a wide range of publications, including Brain Child, The New York Times, and The Atlantic. She has received several “Excellence in Journalism” awards from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists, and recently earned honorable mention in the Women in Writing Creative Nonfiction contest. She is health editor at large for CoveyClub, and teaches creative writing to elementary and middle-school students. Lori has two grown children and lives in Connecticut with her husband and her canine child.
