Amber Scott
Amber Scott knew she would be a writer since age 11, after she wrote a four-line rhyming verse about a willow tree. Since then, her writing has (thankfully) evolved, but that initial spark of joy at finding just the right words to communicate a very specific thought or feeling has never faded. Today, she lives in Arlington, Texas, with her husband and two teenage daughters, and is a writer and editor at The University of Texas at Arlington. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s probably walking the trails at the local park, taking pictures of tiny bugs.
