Ravibala Shenoy writes fiction: short stories and flash, nonfiction, memoir, poetry. She has won awards for her short stories. She has been published in Chicago Quarterly Review, Best Asian Speculative Fiction, Superstition Review, Bosporus Review of Books, and other online and print publications. She is a naturalized American citizen who spent her summer vacations with her maternal grandparents on the west coast of India. She hated it then. Now, she has only to close her eyes and the whole landscape springs up. She is a former librarian and book reviewer.
