Joy Netanya Thompson is a writer and editor based in Los Angeles, where she covers motherhood, culture, and identity, and is working on a middle grade novel. Her work has appeared in publications including Parents, Kveller, Motherwell, and Coffee + Crumbs, and she writes the newsletter Midweek Joy. She lives with her husband, their school-aged daughter, and their family-therapist-in-residence, a Bichon Frise named Asher Lev.
