Calls for Submissions – Writers of Color

Literary Mama stands in solidarity with mothers of color, recognizing that more often than not, their voices have been marginalized or silenced. In our commitment to taking a meaningful role in embracing and uplifting those voices, our publication strives to celebrate a diversity of perspectives and experiences of motherhood. Assisting mothers who are writers in furthering both their craft and their careers is also an important aspect of our overall mission. In that vein, the following list is a special Call For Submissions denoting publications and outlets that are specifically seeking work penned by authors of color, in a wide variety of genres. Further information regarding submissions can be found via the provided links.
“For, while the tale of how we suffer, and how we are delighted, and how we may triumph is never new, it always must be heard.”—James Baldwin

I am an inexperienced a d unknown author who is truly hopeful of someone taking an interest in at least reading some of my pieces.
My writings are mixtures of poems-short stories- words of encouragement -words of gang retaliation-pleadings to families of Alzheimer’ patients who wish to be heard before the disease sets in and is irreversible- family reconciliation gifts of God – story of tragedy striking- slavery etc.
I do not know into what genre my writings would fit and would appreciate any positive and constructive feed back
Hoping you would be able to direct me in the right direction and thanking you in advance
