Allison Blevins, Poetry Editor, had poems appear in Glass: A Journal of Poetry, The New Southern Fugitives, and SWWIM Every Day. She also has poems forthcoming from West Trestle Review and Midwest Quarterly. She had six poems appear in the anthology Unspoken: Writers on Infertility, Miscarriage, and Stillbirth, and she was a semi-finalist for the Pamet River Prize from YesYes Books.

Co-Reviews Editor, Autumn Purdy, has had four essays published recently, “Clean Hands Save Lives” in The HerStories Project, “An Epic Journey to Motherhood” and “How to Show Up For A Grieving Mother” in Sharing Magazine, and “Curative Calm” in the HerKindCollective 2020 Women’s Community Writing Project, an effort to raise awareness about mental health during the pandemic. She is honored to have the opportunity to regularly contribute stories about her recurrent miscarriage experience to Sharing Magazine, and her review of Amanda Field’s and Rachel Moritz’s edited collection, My Caesarean, appeared in the November issue of Literary Mama.

Literary Reflections Editorial Assistant Kimberly Lee’s flash fiction was recently published in Fresh Ink and The Ekphrastic Review, and a creative nonfiction piece is forthcoming in Words and Whispers. Her interview with the creator of An Artist Residency in Motherhood appeared on Literary Mama’s blog.

Editorial Assistant Kristen Mulrooney‘s humor article “Recipes for Emotional Disaster” was published in The Belladonna. Her satirical work “I’m the Wife on a Prestigious Television Drama and the Drug Cartel Can Suck It” and “Quiz: Are You the Worst Fucking Parent” appeared in McSweeney’s. Most recently, her piece “Daniel Tiger Loses a Presidential Election” was published in The Weekly Humorist.

Senior Editor and Literary Reflections editor Andrea Lani had her short story “The Quilt” published in Willows Wept Review in September. It’s about climate change, fracking, and the enduring nature of love, with a touch of magical realism and a nod to an ancient myth. She’s also delighted to share that she has signed with Bison Books, the trade imprint of the University of Nebraska Press, for publication of her book Uphill Both Ways: Hiking Toward Happiness on the Colorado Trail.
